°ÙÀöÖ±²¥ is a private charity dedicated to serving the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families and communities.ÌýFounded in 1882, °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ provides a unique psychiatric hospital; a comprehensive range of residential treatment programs; accredited educational services; and a variety of foster care and community-based treatment programs to help people in need overcome challenges and transform their lives.ÌýThe experts at °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ provide emotional and physical health care and educational services in an atmosphere of teamwork, compassion and creativity.Ìý

The °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ Orchard Hills Campus in Orefield, PA features a highly innovative, independently certified evidence-based residential treatment center in a scenic and peaceful setting. We provide an ideal environment for the treatment of children and adolescents in need of a safe, highly structured, dynamic and nurturing residential treatment experience, supported by specialized training for staff on evidence-based Trauma-Informed interventions for individual, family and group therapy with Nationally Certified Trauma Focused CBT Therapists. At its Graham Lake Campus in Ellsworth, ME, °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ offers residential services for young people on the autism spectrum and youth requiring 24-hour clinical, residential and educational services and supervision.Ìý For more information, visit our Maine residential pageÌýor please call (207) 667-0909, ext. 2312.

Financial informationÌý

°ÙÀöÖ±²¥’s programs and operations are supported by several distinct and essential funding sources.

As a non-profit charitable organization, °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ is dependent on our local community for donations and grants which go toward funding the expert care we provide, in line with our mission to provide Hope, Help and Healing to children, adults and those who love them. Fee-for-service payment and reimbursement for °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ programs, meanwhile, comes from a variety of entities:

• Public funding, which comes from county and local programs such as Children and Youth, Social Services, school districts and probation offices. These agencies typically review the individual case and initiate the referral process to a °ÙÀöÖ±²¥ program.

• Medicaid funding is provided by states to residents who qualify for assistance in paying for programs such as those provided by °ÙÀöÖ±²¥. To learn if you qualify for Medicaid, contact your local social services agency.

• Private commercial insurance often covers some level of the cost of the services provided at °ÙÀöÖ±²¥. The amount of the program fees paid for by private insurance varies according to the specific coverage that the individual has. Contact your employer or insurance provider to find out.

Community Programs

°ÙÀöÖ±²¥ community programs provide services to kids, biological families, and foster families in the communities where they live, in an effort to ensure continued health and happiness for every kid. A spectrum of mental health services that include outpatient mental health clinics, partial hospitalization, autism-specific services, as well as in-home and education services are offered.
