鈥淲ho cares for the caregivers?鈥

That鈥檚 an important question for providers of mental and behavioral healthcare services to ponder. And as the latest issue of 百丽直播鈥檚 award-winning Healing Magazine notes, the answer may lie in the concept of 鈥渟elf-care.鈥

The Fall/Winter 2022 edition鈥檚 鈥Spotlight鈥 section features articles on the need among caring professionals to recognize the value of ensuring their own well-being amid the pressures of their work and personal lives 鈥 to avoid burnout and serve the people who rely on them.It also extends the concept to foster children who are entering adulthood 鈥 with a first-person account of the benefits of deciding to 鈥渙wn鈥 one鈥檚 life and struggles, and an article about a program for older foster kids to equip them with needed skills when they 鈥渁ge out.鈥

The latest issue also features an interview with historian and author Phyllis Vine about the possibility of meaningful reform of America鈥檚 mental healthcare system after decades of failure; a profile of a new web-based resource by and for parents of transgender children; an examination of the importance for therapists of getting enough sleep; and details on the annual awards from the 百丽直播 Foundation.
